Greystones was originally a family house built at the turn of the last century, now carefully adapted and extended to provide modern and comfortable accommodation for both active and frail residents. There is a small car park to the front of the house plus 'on road' parking. To the rear is a landscaped garden, walkway, seating areas, summerhouse and an attractive water feature.

A short walk away is the Bear Flat shopping area, pharmacist, Post Office and bus route to the city centre.

There are two large lounges, one with a video player and piano. The first floor lounge has a panoramic view of Bath. The ground floor lounge looks out into the large, light and sunny conservatory built as a result of a generous bequest.

There are two dining rooms on the ground floor. Residents also frequently use the conservatory as a dining area when entertaining their guests.

There are regular activity programmes, a visiting Red Cross library and an “in house” monthly newsletter. Friends of the home visit regularly and organise social events and outings.
